Amazing how Suunto has turned things around. And so far, their Pro subscription is aimed at serious, competitive runners, unlike Garmin, which is charging for both professional and casual features.

It's a great watch; I've used it for hiking and for maps, tracking, and battery life, and it works very well. But the heart rate is a shame-always very high during activity, sometimes it's accurate, but at rest it starts high and then drops. I know it works better for some people, and it wasn't something I cared about too much, but I returned it. I don't know, it made me nervous to see such a high heart rate because I also have an Ultra 2, and while you can criticize it for other things, in terms of heart rate accuracy it's pretty spot on and I never saw those unrealistic spikes or drops

I think it's one of the few watches that can compete with Garmin. Would you choose it at its titanium case over an Epix Gen 2 if they both costed 550? I just have some doubts because of its laggy menu as it is presented. And the lack of Spotify and paying with the watch is also important to me. But it looks better! And has sapphire and titanium. It seems they fixed the heart rate with updates. Works just fine for me so far.
