Maby AL-AN was right, we *are* controlled by music. Would explain why I'm so addicted to this song.

Creators of subnautica loves their fans just as much as Bethesda loves their Doom fans and this proves it because they included a lot of fan-made songs in their official game

I got the feeling that this was in Canon written by the protag of the first game

wow I play this track on a loop on my jukebox in my main base. So good, lyrics remind me of the first subnautica

AL-AN: What is the purpose of this device?
Robin: It plays music so that I have something to listen to.
AL-AN: What is music? I can detect certain patterns within it. Is it mathematical? An instrument of science? Does it help with your research?
Robin: it does! Just not in the way your probably thinking. Music and math are strongly related. Rhythm is math. Harmonies can be math. But music is a whole is more than that. We experience it on an emotional level.
AL-AN: I sense it has an impact on your pulse and breathing. It makes you move differently. Humans are controlled by music?
Robin: We make music, and we are moved by it. Not everything is about control, Alan.

I like to think that the protagonist from the first game retired from being an astromechanic and became a pop artist. xD

Ryley Robinson wrote a song about his experiences on 4546B.

This was the first Jukebox theme I found. I remember being huddled inside my single-room base in the Shallow Bridges, listening to this song as I waited for my first crops to grow for food, trying to gather the courage to dive into the squidshark den below the bridges.

Hours of playtime later, the song hit so different—I was playing it on my way out of the Fabricator Caverns, and while I was saying goodbye to the massive complex I had constructed from that single room all those hours ago. Knowing the game was basically over, it was a fantastic (and even nostalgic) feeling.

Below Zero didn't really have an End Credits Theme like the original did. The credits theme was sort of underwhelming compared to "Abandon Ship" from the first game. Therefore, this song is basically the entirety of Below Zero for me. I will forever see it as the official ending theme of the game.

This song is so good. I can't stop listening it even outside Subnautica world.

I imagine that Riley Robinson wrote this while on 4546B and used the money from it to pay off his debts

I love imagining that Ryley became like a music star after returning to his home and he wrote this.

3 years later, this song is still the official unofficial theme song of the whole Subnautica series.

That song is my favorite in subnautica

I just got this song on the game and it blew my mind the moment I heard it. I had to stop playing to find it on youtube. Also, they could have used this song for a trailer for the game. Think it was a bit of a missed opportunity.
