A look at the Inflation Reduction Act one year later

One year ago, President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law. What, if anything, has the law accomplished Foremost, the Inflation Reduction Act is terribly named. Most economists, and even the Biden administration, agree. The law's impact on bringing inflation down is, at best, minimal. Inflation has fallen mainly due to energy costs in the U.S. tumbling to -12% compared to last year. This combined with the Federal Reserve raising interest rates eight times since last August is the primary reason inflation is down to 3.3%.

Lets quickly review, milk is now $3.99 to 4.99 and box of cereal is up to $7.50 and the box is about 22% smaller, lunch bread is $5.99 mayo $9.
lunchmeat $11-14 lb, a lb of sliced cheese is $7.50-10.Just these 2 meals spread out over even just a month, real need for 2nd job just to cover food
cost and forget about lettuce/tomato at approx $4/lb, if you lucky it won't be molded by time you get it home. Topper get you own cart and bag yourself

With rumors of DEflation in China, maybe it did work, just not here?

I mean, I know it is a "horrible" thing for stuff to go down in price (at least for those who have heavy debt) but I wouldn't mind seeing some deflation as a poor little prole with low debt but even lower income.

It would be worth while for many people who have commented on this video to watch Robert Reich’s video “Why prices are still high”, you may be unhappy with the Democratic plug at the end of that video, but it would certainly be worthwhile understanding how Americans are being manipulated by large corporations and billionaires before voting for a billionaire to become president once again.

Money printing drives inflation - and the government has not even slowed down the rate of money printing growth
If productivity gains drop prices 10% but money printing raises money supply by 20 % .. we see 10% inflation.
