Let me clarify I never said I was 4c. I said I was tired of hearing the statement “My 4c could never” because I don’t like black women thinking that having a certain hair texture means they can’t grow hair

Anybody else find it extremely satisfying watching someone brush product through their hair???

True! I kept my hair braided for 3 years just micros and box braids or weaves consistently and my hair grew all the way to the middle of my back. I have 4c and the shrinkage was just crazy tho. It would go from a small fro to a blow out like Diana Ross to literally flat it's down my back. People should be so shocked when they would see the different stages of my hair. 😲😳😊

My best friend is black, literally the sweetest person to ever exist. From middle school up until her last year of highschool her hair went down to the middle of her ass. I was in awe everytime she'd leave it down because it was just so pretty. About a year ago though she cut it to be shoulder length and I am here for it, she's so pretty both ways shirt or long hair! She takes damn good care of it too!!

Funny thing is, 4c hair grows really really fast IF you know how to take care of it correctly😊❤

My hair grew more when I started being patient with my hair and not rushing while styling and washing my hair. When you rush, you cause a lot of breakage.

My personal favorite is "What are you mixed with?" 🤔 I have long hair so I must not be completely black. Yeah okay.

I have so much respect for black women. The amount of stuff you have to do just to get your hair looking the way you want it is crazy. When I say I could never, I mean I’d be burnt out at that point. You black women have a determination i could never have

The most HONEST hair care video out there, the fact that you recommend that each person find what works for them instead of listing products is 👌🏼

keep in mind it's not just taking care of your hair. genetics play a huge part as well and so does medical issues. yes the hair grows but breakage is more prone for 4c hair and the shrinkage is crazy 90-95%. when you add certain genetics and medical issues on top of breakage it is very difficult to retain length. it's a neverending struggle for some ppl

I don’t even care for the length I just want the full/thickness 😍

I’m so glad she said this. A lot of black women take care of their wigs better than their own hair. I said this same thing time and time again, if they took care of their own hair like they took care of those wigs it would grow.

Facts!!! I cut all my hair off years ago after a bad weave and couldn’t get the glue out. My hair grew past shoulder length in about 18 months. I was beyond shocked because like so many others I thought black people hair grows super slow. Nope! It just breaks off easier if you’re not caring for it right and keeping it moisturized.
