While using synthetic division, for functions of degree 3 and higher it's convenient to utilize the rational root theorem to find all possible roots. You take all the possible factors of the constant term(positive and negative) and divide them by the factors of the coefficient(positive and negative) of the highest degree in the function. In this case it would be all factors of 30 divided by all factors of 1. After that just keep doing synthetic division until all roots for the function have been attained. Perhaps it would be beneficial to upload a video implementing the rational root theorem? Or is it already planned in this series?
