I suspect part of the reason why we're seeing so many double-build boxes these days is because it helps keeps the product lines relatively small. That makes it much easier for retailers to stock a full range, too.


Compare the number of boxes and blisters per army to those for Warmachine or Hordes. It's well out of control there, and stores have a hard time keeping fully stocked.
