Tenants of Aurora apartments forced to evacate

The apartment management at 1568 Nome St. claims it is happening because of Venezuelan gang crimes, while the city of Aurora says it’s because of longstanding unresolved code violations.

I live right next to that apartment complex, and while it’s always been a rough environment to live in, I can confirm that the incoming Venezuelans have made the situation even worse. From the increase of trash to shootings, it’s sad to see how we’ve welcomed them with open arms, just for them to treat our home like that.

Been living in aurora since 2012 (before weed legalization) and this place has always been a sanctuary state that was giving illegals free college education and driver's licenses. This was an inevitable outcome of such stupidity not just on the legislative level but on the voter level because none of yall paid attention to anything both parties "didn't say" you were to enamored with what they said.

Now instead of listening to the streets yall wanna listen to the politrickians, cowardly law enforcement, and mainstream media about what's going on 🤦🏿‍♂️ well I'd say go arm up but Colorado has passed many laws to prevent you using your 2A rights with many more infringing laws to come.
