About the show:
'Dhe Chef', South India's biggest cooking reality show is aired on Mazhavil Manorama friday to sunday at 8 pm. The show tests the culinary skills of the selected contestants through the series to eventually find the 'Dhe Chef of the Year'. The format of the show, set in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition

Actor Dileep, who has mastered the nuances of delicious food, launched the show. 'Dhe Chef' is hosted by actress - anchor Jewel Mary along with renowned RJ Mathukutty. The judging panel consists of 3 professional Chefs - Chef Anjali Ramaswamy, Chef P V Pradeep and Chef Amrit Jose Appadan.

The show follows a dynamic pattern, with a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots. It has all the major factors of reality shows like twists, pressure tasks, time restrictions, mysteries, wild card entries, elimination rounds, safe zones and of course, presence of celebrity guests. Participants are also tested on group and individual rounds. What awaits the title winner are prizes worth 50 lakhs. The runners up will also be awarded exciting prizes.

20 contestants are selected from 40 short-listed participants who will compete with each other to win the title of 'Dhe Chef'. Brace yourself and get ready to witness some foodelicious episodes.

Asking a person to change teams in the middle of the game is really a bad idea. Please try avoiding this kind of twists, it really kills the spirit of the game. Moreover, how would you judge the contribution of that particular member in any of the teams. He started off in one team in planning and initiation and finishes with the other team. And why is it that he is considered with the team he is finished with, he has equally contributed to the team he started with as well. My strong suggestion is to avoid this in future as it just doesn't make sense. Rest of the show is simple awesome. Kudos to everyone.

Really unfair..There was no need to change the team members at the end..Nothing changes the dish.But Joshy chetan missed the star...So sad about Joshychetan...

What was the point of the twist at the end? Chef Pradeep said from 37:47 -37:55 that "ee varuthazhacha karikku athinte taste verranamayirunnu ennu..Joshychettan was making that curry.. undakkiya alle avasanthe 10 min matte team mayi switch cheytapol athu ningal orthille.. and lijo chettan didn't know the process of making that curry.. Really bad twist.. If he joshychettan made that curry.. he would've get the dhe star...Really Unfair..

I think joshi chetta is the one who desrved it thw most as he is the one who explained well.i think he missed dhe star twice right.another episode he was the winner and they denied to give it saying that the disb was mot uo to mark.I am not sure i think that was joshi chettan
