In a recent notice, the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers announced that Shri Arunish Chawla, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, has been given the additional charge of Chairman, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA). This decision was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) via order No. 36/02/2024-EO(SM-1) dated August 1, 2024
