Why this symbol is misleading.

1. Clean your plastics from leftover food and liquid helps a lot. Recycled goods are a market place and dirty products do not get sold.

2. Remove your bottle caps when recycling soft drink bottles helps a lot. Most recyclers use a float/sink separating process, where PET bottles sink and caps float.

3. Plastic grocery bags are not usually recyclable, but they can be recycled at participating retail stores. They’re light and can get caught in machinery which disrupts the sorting process.

3. If you don’t see any recycling labels on plastic goods, just throw it away. Odds are, it’s not recyclable.

4. Don’t be fooled by buzzwords on packaging like “made with recycled content” or 100% recyclable”. You got to check the symbol! That’s how you know.

5. Sometimes the cup is not recyclable, but the lid is. Demonstrated by the Jamba Juice cup in the video.

Actually i work în a fabric in Spain that specificaly only recycles that tipe of plastic like The plastic bag!!

I was about to ask about the ones without a number right the second before it appeared on a bottle in the short. I take those without it are recyclable then.
