Ohio Governor’s Race: Kucinich Attacks Cordray’s 'Left' Credentials

Tuesday is the Ohio primary for governor of Ohio, in which Rep. Dennis Kucinich faces off against former CFPB director Richard Cordray. Kucinich says that Cordray is principally responsible for assault rifles in the cities of Ohio and favors the death penalty. He is not the “lefty” media likes to portray.

I'm in Ohio and will vote for Kucinich. However Dennis has it wrong on gun control measures. The 2nd Amendment is a progressive value. Disarming "we the people" will result in government, corporations & billionaires continuing to have these restricted weapons allowing the oligarchs to easily rule a defenseless population.

Ohio is closed primary, Ohio independents will not be voting in the primary. Hopefully, Kucinich can pull it out without good-for-nothing independents.

Cordray has been a moderate dem his career a lot of dems in Ohio usually back gun rights.

I really like Kucinich and Sanders, but the progressives REALLY need to base their positions on the Constitution.

As far as assault weapons go, find "militia" several places in the US Constitution.

As far as health care for all, find "general welfare" and "euqual protection of the laws".

I'm very very concerned about my progressive brethren have confused mob rulle and the tyranny of the majority with democracy. And that someone else has to fight our battles and make our arguments.

And our ignorance of what we have in our favor which is the *one enforcible agreement* in this country which gives us the winning hand.

Don't be afraid to look at the hand you've been dealt. Pick the cards up and win the game or lose everything -- forever.
