We first learned of the stash of cash and checks when a plumber called into the Bull Morning Show on FM 100.3.

If looks and sounds like insurance fraud. It’s insurance fraud.

That money is probably the reason he didn't open the church to the flood victims

If it was a robbery...BUT the money never actually left the premises...BUT it is neatly tucked away inside a wall...doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

l knew a lady who worked for one of the older TV preachers....she said her and other employees would open envelopes all day every day full of money and checks and letters requesting prayer...the money and checks were sorted out and the letters were tossed in the garbage without ever being looked at by anybody.

Don’t be surprised when investigators find out that Joel supervised the sheet rock job.

Broke in the church and the safe to steal the money but stashes it in a wall at the same church. So it never left the property. Yet, an insurance claim was filed for the money and got paid back by the insurance company. So, who does the money go to now?? Plus, with all of the fancy cameras at that church, you mean to tell me, there was no camera on the safe??? Or in the area of the safe?? Unless, the insurance underwriter either attends that church and was also in on it. OR- he was being black mailed to give up 600k, and the only way he could do it and keep his books accurate was to say it was a theft.😎 He owns that church and there's absolutely no way that he didn't know exactly what happened back then! Moreover, all of the checks that were never cashed and can't be cashed now. C'mon now! Make it make sense Lakewood.
....and now Joel is silent😑😶🤐

Well when one has a bathroom remodeling done the same time the insured $600k disappears, there's bound to be skepticism. The Lord pulls back the curtain on those

I bet there's a lot more money in those walls

Yeah, the "thief" thought it would be best to leave the money inside the wall. I totally believe that story, because it makes the least sense.

I wish I could steal 600K from myself and blame it on someone else.

Gut that place to the studs, that plumber just scratch the surface. We need electricians, hvac technicians to start working on that building ASAP.

It was an “ inside “ job ! So who has access to the safe ? And why was the moola left in a bathroom wall ? Then was an insurance claim filed at that time ? I think if we knew if a claim was filed . Then we could make an educated guess . Just saying.

🤔 Crazy thing is... if you study theology specifically Christianity, The actions of the churches go COMPLETELY against the example God set for his followers.

Did he say he found the full 600k? I heard him say, “I found _some_ money in the wall…” and then, “In 2014, $600 000 was stolen…” It doesn’t mean the full amount was found. The way people hear what they want to hear is astounding.
