In a state with a power grid that can't even handle a little heat. What can possibly go wrong

Good cause I’m not buying one and think WHERE ARE WE GOING TO GET ALL THE ELECTRICITY?

Evs are cool and all but idk if the state can handle all of Californians driving EVs.

These people are clueless about these being good for the environment.

Sit in traffic for hours during and evacuation your vehicle becomes a paperweight.

Even folks who don't care about the environment are discovering the value and performance of EVs. However, if you don't have a garage with a level 2 charger it's still difficult to keep your car charged and it still cost almost as much as gas. But still worth it unless you just do a lot of long distance driving.

That explains the rolling blackouts in the clown state 🤡

I love how they always interview people wearing masks.

Let us know when EVs will charge as quick as I get gas in my honda? Home charging costs a lot and takes a long time. Let talk about range and battery disposal?

So what happens during evacuation? Earthquake Tsunami Fire?
You hitch hike with someone who has an I C vehicle or you die.

As you guys are so concern about Climate change, why do we still have wars happening?

All the haters lol. I love my EV. I can power my home during a blackout (which came in handy during the storms), I'm not beholden to foreign oil, great for camping as a mobile power source, and it's ridiculously quick off the line. Almost a year since I got it and no complaints. Even if you don't believe pollution is a problem, you'd be doing yourself a favor making the switch. Gas stations are seeing the trend which is why they're charging you up the nose. They're raking in what they can now because when everyone goes electric, there won't be much profit 5-10 years from now. The tax rebate is a nice little bonus.

Has it been determined how much electric cars will increase the use of fossil fuels related to the electricity needed to charge them?

EV's just arent realistic for most drivers. Too expensive too much charging issues, grid issues, time. Maybe in 10 years. 🧂🧂

But they are WAY WAY WAY behind on upgrading their infrastructure and finding enough electricity to POWER recharging them.
Don't just need the charging stations - also need more (or more powerful) power lines AND POWER GENERATION - when the trend looks like California power companies especially PG&E *LOSING ACCESS* to be able to import electricity from elsewhere (like Hydropower from the Columbia River dams) that will be more needed AT HOME and not available to export as much of - if at all.
