10 years later you helped me. I didn't realise that loose sheet was trash lol. It's clearly there to protect the sheet that the carbon goes onto.... Thanks for your help. I start my tattoo in 2 days. Will shave the area tomorrow and the following day I will apply the carbon and do the lining. And hopefully have time and energy to pack colour. Have been practicing tattooing on fake skin and now ready to cover up a horrid tattoo I did when I was 17. 23 years ago lol.

Pro tip, let the stencil dry for a while before beginning the tattoo, if that's your intention. Clearly that wasn't the point in this video but it's a tip that will help any tattoo apprentices and beginners alike. I have began immediately and also let others dry first and allowing them to dry makes them last much longer on the skin if you begin immediately after transferring the first time you have to dap the ink off half of the stencil will go with it and then your flying blind LoL. Also, rub with an alcohol prep pad and then shave the part it's being applied to.

Thank you for this straight and to the point video! I’ve been doing it ALL wrong.. using the trash paper to copy the design 😩 no wonder it didn’t work for me. Paper would rip while tracing lol

Ur supposed to shave before putting it on from the area u can also use petroleum jelly instead of deodorant
