The 14" X-Pac is my Every Day Carry bag in minimalist style.

The listed items below allow for spare space for non-everyday things. The spare space is equal to 4x grapefruit, or in other words tech-material t-shirt, short, underwear and sports pouch towel.

List of mandatory items carried all the time

-Gore-ex Paclite jacket in a zipper pouch
-Osprey Ultralight Stuff 18l backpack

-Nasal spray
-lense cleaner spray

-8x nylon shopping bags folded

SO i posted this as when i was ordering it i was not sure if it could do these items, but i am very happy with its capacity, but this is from a minimalist pack style, its not a tardis that holds everything!

I am really glad you explained that if I had a 14 in laptop I could go with the 14in bag and if I had a 16in laptop I could go with the 16in bag. This cleared up a lot of my confusion.

for future reference, try to model with a contrasting top that way we can see better the shape and size of the bag. black on navy is difficult. to discern.

Had both versions and return both nylon and x-pac versions from preorder. Like the idea but something was not working for me.
Questionable quality on the inside the bag - Specially material under orange nylon that used to creat separations and rigidity, some parts felt like paper is below orange nylon.
Notebook area felt completely different on nylon vs Xpac.
Based on the PO# tag / manufacture tag - nylon and XPAC made by different supplier that explains different fit and finish.

Shoulder strap is too long almost impossible to carry as a sling.

I really want to love this bag, but I *HATE* Alpaka's straps and the way they adjust. I want some way to lock the ends, like a clip on the end so it doesn't flap around or slide.

This or the alpha messenger from alpaka? Decisions decisions! Great review as always, I especially liked the super specific comparison to the headrest material :-)

Wow this looks like my kinda bag. I love that I can carry two of those compressible clothes and my laptop and some other stuff. And relatively stay compact.

BTW does the bag slide around a lot, when you use it In sling mode and walk around or do a lite burst of sprint (sorry for the specific question).

I'm interested but did you include pricing for 14"/16" and weight? Otherwise fair walk through. You comfort level on camera has grown lots, great presentation 👏🏾 👍🏽
