Dr. Greg West is here to answer your questions and more!

Dr. West has a Bachelor's Degree in Atmospheric Science from the University at Albany, and a Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Utah. He was a Postdoc and Research Associate on the Weather Forecast Research Team (WFRT) before becoming a Meteorologist at BC Hydro. He's also an Adjunct Professor at UBC, as he continues to work closely with the WRFT. His background is in the interaction of synoptic-scale weather with topography, but he currently works with the WFRT on a variety of topics related to ensemble forecasting and post-processing, in addition to operational forecasting at BC Hydro.
