Ishika Arora is a finance student at the Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies who aims to perfect the balancing act of effecting meaningful change along with building a sustainable career.

She tries to find ways to extend her love for public policy and climate action, and chairs as the Vice President at Net Impact, Delhi University. She is passionate about climate change and its collective threat to marine life and plans to carry out research in this space.

Ishika has a penchant for writing and leverages the power of poetry to bring environmental issues to the forefront. During lockdown, she wrote for an anthology, and will be a published author soon.

So true, oceans are often neglected in conversations. And even if talked about, are mostly in the senses of the plastic pollution and rising levels. Not enough importance is given to the other aspects. Thanks for bringing that in!
