Claim These FREE Scripts & Scribing Made Simple in The Elder Scrolls Online

A quick breakdown of how to simplify Scribing once you are done with the main Scribing quest and how to proceed with your other characters.

Note that the "free" scrips you get by going to the Mages Guild, you need to 'get' on each character you own. To make this easier, you can pick them all up on one character and have them in your bank - If you have a banker assistant; you pick up the scroll then talk to your banker and put it in your bank, then the scroll will re-appear where you picked it up... Repeat this as many times as alts you have! (Note - They do NOT stack, so you will need 9 x [alts] space in your personal bank to store them all)

PSA, First Character Grimoires cost 50k EACH, then on alts they are 10k each. Also with the event happening later on in June (20th I think), you may want to hold off on buying Grimoires you don't need until then, so you can get a discount on them

For your alts you only need to complete the first of west weald quarry and then the guy for this quest line appears. You don't need to do all 5 in west weald to start the scribing quest line.

So 100% guaranteed drop doing the different activities the 1st time daily account wide. So if we switch toons to do them again it'll only be 25% drop chance? Is that correct?

I have to pay more attention to the scribing stuff. When I recently started it, I was doing so without knowing what the heck I was even doing, 🤣.

Now all that is missing a fast ink farming way . Honestly for that I need a guide. I made all door quests then went to questing in the zone and ... 150 crafting nods and almost the entire main story later not (1) single ink drop . So basically impossible to do even scribing if the laughable 19 ink is used up from the initial quest. Thank you for the nice guide and keep up for good work.

Just a random question as it's not out on console do you have to buy the grimwar on each of your toons or is it account wide

Mages guild scripts can be placed in your bank. Grab as many as you need for each toon instead of having to do on each toon!!!

Question: are you color blind? That arrow is white and when you went outside you pointed out that the arrow is black which is true.
