Sea of Galilee - Ancient Jewish Cemetery in Tiberias

Very early one morning, at the crack of dawn, I ventured by chance into the ancient Jewish burial ground of the city of Tiberias by the shore of Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee). The cemetery is a hallowed site of pilgrimage. It was a moving experience to be roaming among the graves of the renowned sages and rabbis who inhabited this celebrated center of religious scholarship down through the centuries.
