Double Crochet Moss Stitch Pattern

A Crochet state with a nice texture. The Double Crochet Moss Stitch or Double Moss Crochet is a simple 2 row repetition (including setup row).

✰ Suggested Materials

✰ Instructions

Use the hook that the yarn calls for.

Repeat from * to*

Base Row:

Make an even number of chains.

single crochet on the 4th chain from the hook,

chain 1,

*skip 1 chain from the base, single crochet on the next, chain 1*.

End row with 1 single crochet on the last chain.

Chain 2 and turn.

All other rows:

Single crochet on the first chain 1 space,

*chain 1, skip 1, single crochet on the next chain 1 space*.

End row on single crochet on the last chain 2 space.

Chain 2 and turn.

Repeat this last row until you have the length you want.
