I can clearly tell you that BOM'S vocal chords are a little damaged! (she had a beautiful pretty voice back in her trainee days... Yg forced her to fit 2NE1s concept... Now it's nothing but just a unique voice of kpop!

MOMOs voice is naturally a beautiful deep one... She was really stable in her trainee days but by debuting in twice, because of their concept she had to change her voice to a cute one
Like if you're looking at scientist it's deep and natural

But wonyoungs case is different panorama was released in the last of 2020 itself... She had to give out a hard force in there. but by debuting in IVE, till now she's singing smoothly/comfortably

Also Namjoon and Yoongi
They have incredibly deep voices which give me shivers (joon's part in ddaeng or yoongi's in c4) but they are forced to sing higher and cuz of it there is so much autotune in their latest songs (ptd butter)
I know that they are rappers and I want see them rapping with their 6i deep voices again so I can have heart attack
In conclusion, let's wait for korean album in february armies

They didn't get forced to change their voice, just depends on the key they sing, sometimes their tone will change when they sing on the key given 🥰

I think Youngeun (Kep1er) should be here as well because her voice sounds deeper(?) in U+Me=Love, but more girly in WA DA DA. Maybe the company asked her to do that to match the cute concept but her natural voice is better imo

I don't think their being forced to hide their real voices. Their voices are just being drained by the high notes which is totally Barbaric btw cuz they should know the vocal range of their idols and not force them to hit high notes to the fact that their struggling to it and causing their voices to drain

the same thing happened with beomgyu from txt. his voice is more natural in their more recent releases but they used to edit his voice a lot, especially in the studio recordings.
