Wow!! Derrick you are on point. I gave him all of me and he took it for granted. I admit there were red flags but I dismissed because he was available, attentive, protective but he said several times he was not ready for a commitment relationship. I thought I could make a shift/change and I could pour into him and be that positive influence. NOT! He left me in a void and heartbroken. I am now in therapy and will focus on healing and self love.

She sounds like me.. Not with regards to being married but with loving hard. I don't see him showing me any feelings.. He doesn't call me, I am the one calling him. He says "I'm too old for any arguments or hassle as I might as well be by myself" I just ask him why haven't you called. It just seems one sided. Sapping out all my energy and I don't feel like this relationship is going anywhere. My feelings for him is wearing thin and I don't want to make the effort to waste my time for someone WHO SAYS HE CARES but I can't see it... I have so much love to give but he, I don't think, wants me or my love... Time for me to go. Ooooh you hit the nail right on the head, because that's how I am in my relationships as I do the mothering thing, cooking, ironing, nurturing and just want to love someone but not getting it in return. Where is Mr Right... Still looking 😢

I am there on being taken for granted. I was weak in the beginning and didn't speak up and created a monster. I have changed that though and hsve told him about himself. He is making changes or at least trying and I can see it He has potential so I have to be vocal all the time but am conflicted about staying only because this is the second relationship like this. Trying to make sure I am not bringing in crap from that one into this one but don't think I am. But at least I am very aware at this point
