The explosive scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, a prominent Equatorial Guinean official, has uncovered not only corruption but also shocking personal ethics violations. With over 400 leaked explicit videos, including high-profile partners, the incident highlights the lengths some go to for personal gain, even at the expense of public trust.

Surprisingly, parallels can be drawn to behaviors among some Nigerians in the diaspora, where strategic relationships are formed with citizens of their host countries to obtain passports or citizenship. In certain cases, Nigerian spouses knowingly encourage their partners to deceive local citizens into relationships, viewing this as a practical path to securing permanent residency or citizenship.

This video explores the complex moral implications of both scenarios, questioning the societal pressures and systemic issues that drive such actions. Are these tactics simply survival strategies in unjust systems, or do they reflect deeper ethical challenges? Join the conversation.

Very true. My uncle moved to the UK in 1988 and his wife joined a year later. She had to go onto an arranged marriage with a white Briton to get her papers. Infact their first child bore the mans surname if I'm not mistaken. There was a certain time he accused his wife that she was still in an affair with that man after the arrangee marriage was over.
