The correct response to bouncers is to try hitting back the bowler on his head, the next ball when a full blooded straight drive is possible. Fight fire with fire, a symphony of chin music with chin music! Playing straight is a batsman's right, as it is least risky. It's the bowler's job to get out of the way to not get his head injured. Alternatively, the bowler can wear a helmet and bowl.

Wonderful bowler but he definitely has lost some pace and ferocity since his debut, I remember him on debut ripping through a saffer team filled with greats...that was a venomous spell of genuine fast bowling, sadly due to injuries that natural aggression and pace is not what it could have been. That being said he is probably the 2nd best bowler in the world behind KG Rabada. I just hope he stays injury free, a fine bowler to watch.
