G2 are actually going to win Shanghai. GenG literally cannot rival what G2 displayed today. Their aim, map awareness, movement, economy management, op flicks, pistol rounds, attacks, defenses, everything was a masterclass from beginning to end.

Everyone talks about W00t, and for good reason.. but imo Pattitek is my MVP! SO many impactful round-saving multikils! And the guy is a SUB! He was unsigned in EMEA, which is arguably 1 of the weaker regions this season so far.. 1st subbing most of the season for W00t, and now that miniboo had to take a break right when they qualify to Shanghai for burnout, he's been with the team for all except mb 2-3 matches. To say that guy singlehanded saved their season with that alone isn't an understatement.. but when your sub is 1 of, if not thee, most impactful player on your team.. absolutely insane.

As much as I want Gen.G to win their and Pacific's 1st title... when a dark horse like TH gets going like this, it's hard to think that they won't win it all! They've always had these glimmers of just being insane, I think they have 1 of the best coaching staffs (their anti-strat and prep is amazing), but the consistency they're showing here at Shanghai.. they're just getting better and better!

It totally reminds me of FPX's (Navi now) run at Coppenhagen, they're just peaking at the perfect time! Altho tbh, I still don't think it's as crazy of a run as FPX at Coppenhagen considering that Seider was a last min sub unlike Pattitek and FPX was literally in the lower bracket their 1st match of groups then again in their 1st match of playoffs.. but still this would be an amazing story for TH.. makes me sad that Navi had an almost perfect stage 2 but had to face this team in single elim to qualify for Shanghai and lost, shows how awful the format is this year tho

Tbf g2 just weren't in their zone those first 2 maps, heretics pulled some crazy stuff and they're insane. I think this is gonna be a very good upcoming match so it'll be interesting if they could upset gen.g too.
