Curated by Diwas Raja Kc and NayanTara Gurung Kakshapati, the Feminist Memory Project – part of NPL’s ongoing research – is a dedicated archive of women’s movements in Nepal. Initiated in 2018, the project features over 8,000 photographs, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, correspondences, oral histories, and testimonials. Presented in chapters, the selected materials on display showcase a wide range of individual and collective efforts to shape, support and document feminist movements in the country, seeking to create visibility for these histories and their intersections with other social and political movements.
