Unfortunately most "locksmiths" in my area would tell me the lock 'had to be drilled out' and slap on some garbage replacement.

I've never picked a lock before til last week, all I know is it's a schlage, and I managed to get it open in about 1 hour of total effort. Your videos + sheer persistence was the reason I got it open

Your vids inspired me to buy my own set of picks and have a go with lock sports. My picks just arrived today, and i picked my very first lock a few hours ago! Very satisfying when i felt that tension wrench turn for the first time!

Love it. That tool offers a fantastic illustration of things like "binding" and "loose" pins for newcomers to locksport, and it also shows that sometimes a significant amount of force is necessary to make a pin click. And that key cutter takes me back to working in my cousin's locksmith shop 30 years ago. Oh, had I only stayed on to learn more!
