A "good businessman" doesn't file bankruptcy six times, especially when three of those were for casinos and one was for the The Plaza Hotel in NYC. He's not a businessman, he just inherited a lot of money and daddy always bailed him out. Then he learned how to swindle, cheat, lie, not pay his taxes or debts, and tie up workers/vendors in red tape and lawsuits until they were forced to take pennies on the dollar for their services rendered. He wasn't a good business man or POTUS, as he was still the same lousy persone he's always been.

I had pointed out to my Uncle, a small business owner, that if his business had been hired by the orange buffoon, he never would have been paid for his work. That bankruptcy is a last ditch effort to save your company; not the first option to keep all the profits for yourself and allow the company to die and your employees to be bankrupted. My Uncle said "that wouldn't have happened to me. I'd have had him sign an iron- clad contract." He still fails to realize everyone tRump has done business with had what they thought was an iron-clad contract.

OMG, my oblivious friend constantly says exactly this.
He's a good businessman and he's tough - after saying he's not such a great guy but she's still going to vote for him. I seriously don't get it. First of all, he is a horrific excuse for a human being, in addition to being one of the worst businessmen ever. He has mastered the art of being a scam artist, though. And he gets away with breaking law after law. Talk about crooked...but we know he's just projecting. When he gives names to other people, the names are really based on him, so he can try to twist everything around and make his followers believe whatever he says.

It annoyed me back in 2015 when people were actually pondering how, with Trump, America could be run as a business. That's a horrible way of governing. The ultimate goal of a business is to profit, to extract money from its customers. Businesses only care about their base and the possible reach to more customers. There's no incentive to help non-customers unless there's potential to turn them into one. But that isn't how to preside over a country like ours. You are sworn in to take care of the whole country, not just those part of your base.

The idea that we need a businessman as US President is crazy. The people of this country are not employees. This is OUR country. Nobody is supposed to be searching for a personal profit off leadership positions. Businessmen have control over employees and what work they perform. Citizens have free will. Running this country like a business will turn it into an authoritarian regime. Vote blue.
