UK VISA PROCESSING & DECISION WAITING TIMES

UK’s visa processing times have been impacted severely, so today’s video update will be looking at what the latest processing times in the UK look like.

At present, visa applications made through the Ukraine Visa Scheme are prioritised by the UK Visas and Immigration Agency (UKVI). This scheme was introduced in response to Ukraine’s humanitarian crisis.

Due to these circumstances, the UK visa application processing times for other categories are taking more time, and persist to be disturbed due to the outpour of people out of Ukraine.

So what do the global average processing times according to the UKVI look like?

Student visas – an average of 5 weeks
Work visas – an average of 6 weeks
Visit visas – an average of 6 weeks

FYI: I got my skilled worker visa and family dependent visas in 8 days here in Korea. It could've been 7, but I picked up the passports a day later.

Please be kind for spouse and family visa category... 24 weeks is too much time... it's so problematic in my and many other cases... please

I have applied for a standard so visitor visa. My appointment was in Düsseldorf on 06.14.22. I was told at the appointment it takes a maximum of 6 weeks. My visa is not there to this day and now my family unfortunately flies on vacation without me. Does anyone feel the same way?

We are paying a huge amount and fee for visiting visas but the UK is slow, worst experience ever never traveling to uk again one can only travel to uk in summer but they delayed so much

Skilled worker visa 11 weeks now. Meant response back in 8 weeks. No response from UKVI.

I applied for a visitor visa from Spain on 22 July to attend the conference. The first email says that it will take 15 working days. Now in the emails, they are saying it is taking 7 weeks to process the visitor visa. The conference will finish by that time. What would I do with that visa?

14 weeks into our waiting for my Japanese wife's spouse visa. Could be another 10 weeks yet. The uncertainty and stress is taking it's toll on us, not to mention the financial pressure. I have every sympathy for Ukranians, but UKVI really need to get this back under control.

Hey, I applied student visa in July with 3kids as dependents husband didn't apply as dependent coz of his work here.
My university received my brp and sent me an email but I haven't receive any update for my kids visa or our passport.
I have made paid inquiry for kids for which they said 15working days which will be completed tomorrow.
I have made inquiry for my self as well and they asked for my details and my kids j gave them but still no answer.

I applied on 10th may (standard visitor visa) and still haven't received my visa yet.. Apparently now they are giving student visas priority but it's very unfair !
