Georgia State Patrol dismisses 30 troopers in Trooper School cheating scandal

Georgia Department of Public Safety Commissioner Col. Mark M. McDonough announced the scandal on Wednesday.

If every LEO chief were as open and honest with the public as this gentleman, Police would not be as poorly perceived by the public; Police officers would be less likely to abuse their power; Police supervisors and prosecutors would be less likely to defend corrupt cops. Kudos.

When a LEO loses POST certification for misconduct, it should carry the same weight as a dishonorable discharge from the military.
