I think that that final straight up climb should have colors so you know how close to the top you are. With your nose pushed to the wall it looks all the same so it would be hard to tell if you are making progress or not.

You gotta introduce a relay option, two teams up against each other. At the finish the players have to drop their mace into a water stream, it gets transported back to the start for the next teammate. This should make for great fun and team competition!

So if you wanted to know, pearls purpur shop is the catbus on top of the initial area where the permits were handed out. It’s a little odd, but it’s a play on purpur and purr purr

I like it! It looks great and looks super fun. 2 things: (1) increase the height on that last tower so players aren't hitting their head if they hit the topmost armor stand and (2) expand the left-right area into more of a circular arena with multiple paths. The way the armor stand bouncing works, it may be that the shortest path between two points is a crooked line. Building up some inertia in one direction may be more effective than going directly toward the finish. This is another thing you can playtest. Enjoy! I look forward to the next video.

Xisuma! You should open up the climbing tower and make a glass dome, so players don't hit their head and can see the surrounding for a sec. Makes it much smoother! :)

I think you should use string and tripwire hooks at finish line to see who is the winner. Also, I think the race should be a bit longer. 5 sections in all. Looks like a fun game.

Never though I'd see the day that you can make Celeste in Minecraft Vanilla+! Awesome! Maybe put some gradiation in the walls of the vertical climb so it's easier to see if you're actually moving upwards or you're stuck. You can also take some inspiration from platformers, maybe hitting yourself backwards to get extra momentum on a slime jump?

I think the custom model is good in this case, it even improves on vanilla by giving every competitor the knowledge of the armor stand hitbox without using debug mode

The main downside of the model I see is it makes the user think it’s a solid block rather than the normal pass through that is an armorstand
