lets see here in California my rent was raised twice, gas double in price, food prices went up, lockdowns, people dont know if male or female, the streets are full of homeless, utilities have gonna up in cost, Thieves have increased in activity, Cops dont show up unless 911 is called, We dont invest in disalination plants, agriculture is becoming non existant and yet the same party keeps on winning. It’s sad as a young man who is just starting to dip his toe into politics and realizing how corrupt or country is, both sides seem so shady and idk what to think let alone trust, howeverI know that this is the way our country has been forever and will most likely continue to be…again it’s sad to see a country so divided

Did anyone else notice the part where they showed the senate as a 50/50 split (with the blue squares representing a DEM seats and the red squares representing the GOP seats) were NOT an equal 50/50. There’s actually 52 red squares and only 48 blue squares so they’re putting up a visual that gives GOP a 2 seat majority NOT a 50/50 evenly split senate composed of 50 blue and 50 red it looks equal but pause it and have a look. Think they used the 2018 senate visual and just squeezed some squares together so it LOOKS equal but it absolutely isn’t. I wish it was tho. And actually it isn’t technically a 50/50 split as as of right now Thursday 17th Nov 22 @ 23:09 UK 🇬🇧 time Alaska hasn’t officially announced a winner although it WILL be GOP and GA has yet to get a candidate to 50%+ and there are 2 independents who just vote along with the dems so TECHNICALLY no party will have an absolute majority of 51 seats even when the full results are in, as we in the UK 🇬🇧 call an election where no one party receives enough MP’s to win an outright majority of 326 MPs a HUNG PARLIAMENT you guys over the pond will in fact have had a HUNG SENATE as neither one of your 2 mainstream parties managed to get 51 members of a single party in the senate. Even if warnock wins the run off although democrats will have CONTROL of the senate they will only have that by having 48 Democratic senators SUPPORTED by 2 Independents who vote with the dems but who are not actually Democratic Party members AND the tie breaking vote of the VP so there’s actually more republicans than democrats in the senate and they’ve just won a hugely narrow victory in the house so by my judgement republicans won the midterms by about 0.01%
