Thank You All for Your Time and Instructional Videos!!
I'm Brand New to Leathercraft and so far I'm Hooked!!
It's great to see Informative Videos (without the Time Lapse, not to say They're not helping but..) it's Great to have Professional Instructions from Working People Who know what it is to start out (even if it's a hobby for someone like myself to make Gifts for Loved One's) for someone like myself at the age of 60++
I've always wanted to learn how to do Leathercraft and You're making it possible!!
I can't say Thank You Enough for Your YouTube Channel and Great Videos!! ☺️

I've made a ton of cabochons and gotten tired of working with silver... this is a great alternative! For a manic Monday I'm darn glad I found this!

This was one of the best inlay demo I have seen. I would love to make one but I don’t have a leather sewing machine.

I watched your program last night and just loved your work. I wish there was a template because I have a gorgeous gemstone and that would be perfect. I’ll keep on looking to see if one pops up. Beautiful work❤

Great demo! Thanks!
I can’t wait to put some cabochons into some of my upcoming projects. Also, in case it helps: I use binder clips/quilt clips to keep the paper from crawling when I’m cutting a folded symmetrical pattern.

I remember buying an American Indian made bracelet from Arizona but I lost it years ago and I was wanting to make a similar design but never knew what it was called until now 🤗💜 instead of using rounded polished stones they used huge crystals And had similar engravings, I had a big blue crystal encased in a softish blue leather...was so amazing

Thanks for this great tutorial! I would also love to see the video with Kevin's stream rocks but I cannot find it. Could you direct me to it? Thank you!

Just FYI gem cabochons are usually cut to "calibrated" sizes, with "calibrated" being the jewelry industry's standard term. They are also measured, bought, and sold in metric measurements, so the ones you used here are 40 X 30 stones. Traditionally, the larger number comes first, i.e. 40 X 30, 20 X 15, etc.

Thanks for the video. These are techniques I will certainly use and appreciate you sharing. Have you every tried to inlay metal shapes, like figures or flowers etc. made from Jewelers silver? I am thinking about it, but there's no how to other than fine silver wire, which would be different. Just a thought, maybe worth a video. Thanks.

Thanks, this was a great video! I've seen journals with cabs and even hand-painted glass eyes that look really cool. I wondered how hard that is to do. I'm going to give this a try.
