People saying Oberyn only got close to or didn’t beat the mountain at all, that’s all wrong. The mountain DID die that day and The Mountain didn’t kill him, Oberyin’s own ego and lust for vengeance did.
What happened is basically like if a terrorist were to fight a navy seal, gets beat up, and in his last breath detonates a bomb to kill the navy seal. He didn’t WIN the fight!

Jaime for Feats? The only feat I have heard of his before being labelled the Kingslayer was assisting in taking down the Kingswood Brotherhood.

Whereas on the other hand, Oberyn made his name on all the feats he accomplished, both in his time in Westeros and as an exile in Essos.

On paper i'd also side with Oberyn but in reality (i mean fictional realiy) after Barristan got old and Arthur died Jaime was invincible. But yeah if someone is to challenge him, it's Oberyn

I would say speed goes clearly to Oberin. Stamina too, and durability and endurance stay with Jaime.
We’ve seen how Oberin fought the Mountain, his strategy and strength lied in speed and agility. You can’t think he wouldn’t have had the stamina to hold it up.
Skills too. Like Oberin has been to so many places and fought with the mercenary armies too right? Studied in the citadel… however you look at it he’s well traveled and rounded.
Though I’m not sure what power hax refers to so I can’t judge that.
In contrast what abilities does Jamie have? Apart fighting, in general, and even there he favours the sword and didn’t learn other weapons. I don’t remember him having that many. Like sure a sword prodigy, but still that. For those saying intelligence in favour of Jaime… really? He said it himself he wasn’t that smart (I admit he was talking book smarts though). But Oberin has a fucking master chain. And he has fought overseas too so you can’t say he has no battle IQ.

That said, I would still say that even if Oberin has more categories, Jamie (at least book Jamie) still has the advantage. Not that he would win for sure but, as one on one duel, he has the odds in his favour.
I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like Jamie would be able to defeat someone like Oberin but Oberin can adapt his strategy and fighting style, to a certain extent, so we would have to see how the fight developed.
So Jaime might be one of the best sword masters in Westeros but Oberin is still unpredictable enough that he *could* change turns in a disadvantaged position, depending on outside factors he could defeat Jamie, or the same might apply for Jamie.
