Hey Mark, which racket do you personally love the most for single handed backhand?

This review shows just how personal racquet choice is. I have now put 40ish hours in with the racquet, and love the stability (coming from my 2022 Speed Pro). 10 hours of play doesn’t give me enough time to adequately evaluate a racquet. I need more outings against more players. The shot that has improved most for me has been the one-handed backhand because of the stability. The same stability helps me with the off-center volleys that Marc didn’t like. I also think it isn’t that great for spin compared to the old racquet, but my strings last as long as in my 18x20 Speed which is impressive. I do agree that the grommets are not good. Unfortunately they have never been good on the Aeros. One area where Babolat did far better than expected was comfort.

I am having a lack of control and consistency with the yonex ezone 100, do you think that if I change it to the babolat pure aero 2023 it would improve? I feel more connected with the new Babolat, the ezone doesn't have as much control...

as a one-handed backhand player -- just feels wrong playing with a 100 sq thick frame nad feels awkward swinging on the backhand side. 97/98 sq head just swings faster through the air I find without the chunky boy size. similar to head gravity

For counterpoint, tennis nerd played w/ the extended version of this racquet in her tournament! There are a lot of factors he goes over. I think he likes it for the serve and he's also been trying to get away from a flatter FH towards topspin. I personally don't care for it b/c I dont want stiff and want something that allows me to flatten out. I know technique is a big part of this, but some racquets definitely make the stroke feel better.
