Customers will be discouraged from touching items while browsing, fitting rooms will be banned, and frequently handled merchandise will be quarantined for 72 hours - these are some of the new rules shops in England will be enforcing as they prepare to reopen from 15 June.

Some shopping centres are planning one-way systems to control traffic, with queues expected outside.

Not touching is going to be hard. We rely on touch as humans. For clothing, we need to see if we like the look of the full garment, to see if we like the material, if we won't have a skin reaction. People with sensory issues need to see if they like the texture.
For food, people with allergies or sensitivies need to see the ingredients on the back of boxes. Vegetarians and vegans need to see if its suitable. Some things just cannot be bought online.
This is going to be hectic.

In few month shops will be bankrupted.
People won't go to shops where they have to stand in queue.

Are people really just allowing the destruction of our way of life? We could close the roads and save more lives. Obviously this is something other that what we are being told.

Social distancing is an inhuman way to live and will cause serious psychological damage to far more than the virus.

What about supermarkets? Everybody touch the items of the shelf? What the difference of care between a non-essential shop and essential shop?

So, let's allow a committee of civil servants and health and safety experts, none of whom are on furlough (although, frankly, they wouldn't be missed if they were) to develop some rules about shopping with no thought whatsoever about whether it's actually possible for businesses to make any money.

Social distancing is just a fancy word for social control.

If the browsing tangible factor is restricted in retail outlets why would people go, they’ll just shop on line
