This has been a long overdue practical and Biblical "overvue"
of the Covid 19 pandemic. Thank you for the insights of both
aspects of the pain caused to those who have experienced the
death of a loved ones, and the hope in, and opportunity to express
the Gospel viewpoint, . There is hope if our faith is fixed on the
Lord Jesus, who, if trusted in and accepted as Saviour, will take
us Home to be with Him, whether through Covid 19, or any other
means that death eventually takes us home to be with Him, in
the mansion prepared and as promised in the John's Gospel.

Also a Hymn came to mind that I would like to quote to Fritz Doerring and those who are feeling oppressed in this time of upheaval in the USA. We sang this in a group called the Sowers in our younger days in Toronto. It is called Teach me Thy Way.

When Doubts and Fears arise, Teach me Thy Way,
When storms o.erspread the skies, Teach me Thy way,
Shine through the cloud and rain, Through sorrows, toil and pain,
Make Thou my pathway plain, Teach me They way.

Also, Fritz, if you can get hold of "The Treasury of David" by CH Spurgeon and read his commentary on Psalm 25. When I received some bad family news and was in tears, my oldest son read this over the phone and encouraged me to read the Treasury of David on that Psalm. I now take a single thought from a Psalm and let that hold me for the day. We need God's daily strength, His daily wisdom and his daily encouragement. Jesus as THE WORD gives us His words, for strength and encouragement in the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks to Dr. W. These people weren't praying with Dr. Godfrey. I can hear the typing and the voices whispering as he was praying. What's up with that? Dr. Sproul wouldn't have been doing that. He is greatly missed. I'm so glad that we have his teachings.

The church is supposed to be proclaiming the gospel and ministering to others... and yet the churches are CLOSED and we can't do anything but look at life through a video screen. This is ridiculous. Enough, already!
