On January 9, 2025, I purchased the 12v version (L12V100-100-Basic-4-A100) for $196.87. It's now priced at $259.99, and they say it's on special. They also say the price will go up due to tariffs.

soo glad I pulled the trigger and bought all the batteries I needed back in December

The tariff cost is on the retail price. Many items are exempt in the electronic areas: Laptops, phones and automotive area.

Aloha Bob, I opted for extra panels, as I added a few batteries in December.

These companies are smart. They know every marketing tactic known to man to get the U.S. Market to buy things from them.
This includes using the tarrifs as a panic to scare people into buying, including artifically increasing prices or saying prices will go up.

I have seen various products go up in cost from one store or one brand and not another even for the same goods.

Chances are there will be a brief fallout on the market, and then it will re-stabalize, and at that time I wont be supprised to see the "best prices ever" for a big new "sale"

This is not to say the tarrifs are not real, or it will not have an impact on companies as that is not the case. I am simply saying dont over buy into what you hear, this is a golden opportunity for them to make money, they are not going to pass it up.

Sounds like where going back to the old days again, when solar was expensive.
Mind you I picked up some groceries yesterday at the supermarket. $35 later for one shopping bag of basic publishable items.

If you know you are going to buy something some day, always buy it as soon as it is low priced. Odds are it won't be that cheap when you finally need it.

Yesterday I bought the Li Time 3500 all in one with 2 Vatrer server rack 48v batteries. Was $2400 plus change, but with a couple discounts it went down to $2285. These prices will be much more in the coming weeks. The EG4 3K unit went from $750 to $1050 already.

I have 2 bluetti 200 Max power stations.
I use one and my buddy used the other one.
When I need that second one i can get it anytime.
I'm good. 👍🏾

Anker announced price increases last week. The timing from other companies will depend entirely on how much pre-tariff stock they have. If one needs something, don't wait!

I’m sure some of these are price gouging but some could be preparation for long term trade issues

There is know better time to buy solar than today. I enjoy your channel because you get the cool toy first. My Amper-time 200ah battery is working fine after 4 years. Canadian prices are expected to fall. Cheers Bob.

Just did my quarterly maintenance on my lead acid batteries and should have at least another 3 years on them....and hoping when the time comes, I can afford lithium ion. I think will need 2 for 24v system. So thanks for something I think about often. Aloha.

I have a 24 V hundred amp they refused to replace without me sending the old one first I can’t do that off grid therefore I do not use that company for any of my batteries anymore. If you do several other companies, they send you a replacement and then you send the junk battery back.

Li time used to be a budget battery and it’s been years since it was budget.
