I think track record should count to an extent. If it’s someone with 3 wins and no bottoms vs someone who’s been in the bottom almost every week and it’s a 48:52 split on who did better in the lip sync than the person with a better track record should win.
However, Mhiya destroyed plasma. There was really no other option

The only problem i have with mhi'ya was that she sent a few queens home that definitely deserved to be there more than she did. But it made the season so much more suspenseful. Mhi'ya was a sub boss.

I dont think the discussion was about whether or not track record should come into account. The discussion was about the hipocrisy since amanda won her lip sync against q but q stayed because of track record. The question is why did q stay but not plasma? Why did maya stay and not amanda? That was the issue.

I feel like if you have won 4 challenges and your opponent hasn't won at all. You can't just beat by 51% to 49%. You have to actually destroy the other person. By like 80% to 20%. And that's what mhyia did. So she deserves to stay

the same season on amanda and q lipsync track record matters. in the end the production wants fashion .who can bring more gag in looks counts too. so to conclude does track record matters yes if only the looks they bring are phenomenal.

Unless its toe-to-toe, like they're both killing, track record would help. But Plasma was absolutely devoured in that particular lipsync. had it been a different song and plasma could bring an energy Mhiya couldn't Plasma could've won

I only think track record should come into account if the queen that has multiple wins versus the queen that’s been in the bottom more doesn’t flop the lip sync like Plasma did.

There have been some questionable Shantays so it’s very hard to take the lipsyncs serious. Ultimately, production decides who they want to keep around.

I definitely think that in a lot of lipsyncs track records shouldn't count, but if a girl just continues to end up being in the bottom and she continues to send home people who are actually doing good in the competition then that's when track record should count. Cause if they can't do a single challenge well, then they don't really qualify for americas next drag superstar.

This is the problem with LSFYL. Queens who are doing great in the competition get kicked off by “lip-sync assassins” AKA girls that aren’t going to win but production keeps them around over girls that deserve to stay so they can use them to eliminate whoever they want for “storyline” purposes. It’s just another problem with over-production of the show. Anther reason why I won’t be watching drag race anymore. It’s just more capitalist garbage now…which is sad because there are so many talented queen on these shows that are used and dumped for a shtty storyline.
