Fast Track to PM - Session 5.3
Creating the Precedence Diagram
The precedence diagram is a schedule where the activities are linked according to the relationships (precedences) between them.
Two main methods exist Activity on the Arro (AOA) and Activity on the Node (AON).
AOA refers to methods where the activities are represented by arrows that have a start and finish node. It contains the Arrow Diagramming Method (ADM) and the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT).
AON refers to methods where the activities are represented by modes that are linked by arrows. The main method is the Precedence Diagramming Method (PDM).
