I just bought a second hand fridge that's a little bigger. I have enough space to put in a Fermzilla with airlock or spunding valve if I want to ferment under pressure.

If you lift the edge of the rubber gasket up around the edge of your door you’ll see were screwed in if you remove all of those screws you can take that plastic insert out of the door and put you some insulation in there and it will be flat your magnet will still be intact you’ll be able to close your door and take the glass shelf out and lower your fermenter down

Excellent video. Since it's a beater refrigerator that's going to be used for a specific purpose it seems you could notch out those door shelves for clearance for the fermenter so you could sit it on the bottom - maybe put some tape or epoxy some plastic strips across the resulting slit holes. There's no electronics to worry about in the door.

So you just set the fridge thermostat as low as it would go and then used the Inkbird to turn the fridge on and off ?

I'd love to see some pictures of the blowoff system you used.

So what happens to the original temperature setting/thermostat? Do you disconnect? Set it somewhere in the middle?
And wouldn't it be colder near the freezer component you bent down? Do you have video if the heating element you added later?

Hi, one question, the fridge is frost or not frost, because if you have a heater and the frezeer defrost, will drip and could be cause a short circuit.
