A video I filmed in the Spring of this year, before I wrapped my 350Z, of Car Scene UK's meet at The Black Swan, whereby I filmed cars leaving, which later resulted a BMW M4 flipping upside down.

Who knew that driving like a bellend might have consequences.

Makes you laugh these car ‘enthusiasts’ thrashing cold engines to the red line, driving like idiots, crashing, then bemoaning the fact these ‘meets’ are no longer welcome, or command a Police presence. Complete tools.

Everyone loves a nice exit but there is also a level of sensible behaviour and respect for others....nervous around the cyclists as folk are flooring it never mind the venue kindly putting the event on.

"He's alright" That's a shame. He'll be back to ruin another car show for everyone else until these events are blanket-banned.

Too right they kicked everyone out. The worst thing about people that choose to drive like that is they often cause decent car enthusiasts to get tarred with the same brush.

Ha ha ha. I'm sure he wasn't speeding or driving like a bell end

And people wonder why the police scour the streets around car meets... 🙄

Seems, the youngsters can't handle their bank owned vehicles these days.

He could have had the decency to crash on camera. Glad all were ok though of course.

Let’s get one thing straight; no one is impressed by burnouts etc anymore, this isn’t the 1990’s. Real car enthusiasts are quite chill with a static meet.

Driver: thinks hes a hero for doing a burnout … Crowd: wating for him to crash so they can laugh

Haha what a prat. Don't care if the driver is ok, just glad he didn't hit anyone else being a bell end

I'm an ex-rally driver (only amateur, from the Group-B era) but can only afford to ride a bicycle these days. I've got no objections whatsoever to car owners doing their thing within the law, and I always give way to traffic and stick to the rules of the road (because as a driver I know how annoying some cyclists can be - especially those uppity f*ckwits with helmet cameras who go out deliberately getting in the way and looking for trouble).

But what scares the crap out of me is inept boy/girl racers who should be safely back at home tanked up on Red Bull and playing on a driving sim in their bedroom, not driving like idiots in public.

Not only is it dangerous for other road users - especially gorgeous, squishy, fat-bottomed girls like me [joke] - but it ruins things for fellow car enthusiasts.

It's not good when you've got drivers spinning their wheels, swerving and 'drifting' (ha bloody ha) around blind bends on B-roads, spooking horses and sending cyclists (and even pedestrians) diving for cover. It gives the police and fed-up villagers all the ammunition they need to shut events down.

Note: it's not enough for YOU to know that you're in control and are just brimming with skills and are messing about like a pro stunt driver for the cameras [actually, pro stunt drivers don't take stupid risks, which is why they're pros]; instead, look at your behaviour from someone else's point of view.

All we see and hear is a car going too fast, sideways, and slithering across both lanes, apparently out of control and about to snap-oversteer into a ditch, so we have to assume that you're drunk, high, enraged, trying to impress your passenger, or just a moron.

I think one of the most shocking things in this video (please feel free to call me a wuss) was at 6:15, when a driver who doesn't deserve to be identified spun his (or her) wheels in traffic and sprayed gravel over the Mercedes behind him (or her). Disgraceful.

Now, I'm a rally nut so I don't mind a bit of gravel and have dodged whole forests of pine trees in my time (and even the occasional giraffe), but the thoughtlessness and sheer lack of class of this left me fuming.😠

Should be titled "When ambition outweighs talent".

sadly, that may just kill car meets at that venue
we used to really enjoy the Ashby Folville meets, but the final straw for those was someone wrapping their car round a tree

Think this might be the final nail in the coffin of the Black Swan event. The residents have been trying to get it shut down for years, and after this, , then it might just be all they need.. it was so lucky that no-one was killed, and cyclists. This used to be such a great event, but unfortunately it has now become the haunt of the burn out/ sliders brigade, just hope they dont turn up at any of the other events i goto. Not gonna say where they are.

A tremendous selection of financed cars on show

Sad that the state of most car meets nowadays means that the only way to stand out and look different is to actually drive normal. Gone are the (pre max power) days of cruises where everyone just ran around in tow with each other, without any of the burnout/drift/pops n bangs shit. Last thing I would be doing if leaving a meet is flooring it just to try and prove a point. As you said Adam, "it's unnecessary because it's not needed". The HP/PCP brigade just never learn, and as much as I love ///M cars, I really can't stand the new F/G styling of beemers.
