Seventy percent of U.S. adults have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, a key milestone in the fight against the pandemic that comes almost a month later than President Joe Biden’s original goal.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said employees at mass-transit operations must be inoculated or submit to weekly tests, and urged private businesses to adopt a vaccine-only admissions policy. New York City ‘strongly’ recommended wearing masks indoors, though no mandate was issued.
