Agnetha and Frida have a very special bond and friendship between them and like they say they look out for each other especially when they were going through their divorces and also big life events. I love hearing Frida talking about Agnetha as her little sister and Agnetha saying about her dear friend Frida. Agnethas daughter Linda has a special relationship with Frida

Lovely video for International womens day. i adore the fact my absolute favourite Agnetha leadvocal and my Absolute favourite Frida leadvocal were both recorded in June 1980 and each has said publically they loved their friends performance on The Winner Takes It All and Our Last Summer, and wished if they could have chosen what song they'd have liked to have sung, it would've been those songs. I also appreciate the fact both women added to what Benny & Bjorn created in the studio. Agnetha practised hard and found the perfect way to perform 'Hasta Manana' which they had struggled to find the right way to sing, and that gloriously dramatic vocal obligato line in The Day Before You Came was Frida's idea. The song writters credit may almost always say Andersson & Ulvaeus but our ladies and those studio musicians came up with lots of ways to give the songs different ideas. I'm sure it would have been the same in their work as solo artists. I was really suprised to realise Agnetha and Frida first met for the first time in January 1968 when as solo artists they appeared on the same Swedish TV show while their future husbands had met each other two years earlier. The ABBA story is really some kind of miracle that it actually happened.

I remember when the press and fans constantly said they didn't get along and were very negative about their relationship. I always thought the opposite. So happy all that has finally stopped!

I remember the video clip Gimme, gimme, gimme. They are in the studio recording the song and we can see Frida whispering something to Agnetha and they both laugh. It's a pleasant moment of complicity that makes me feel love them even more.
