Memories are forever! 1979 was a great year for me. France Joli gave me so many moments of pure joy and good energy!

I had the pleasure of meeting France Joli twice! She autographed both of my albums. She performed in Los Angeles at Girl Bar in 1997 and last night at Caddies nightclub in Alhambra. She sang beautifully and is sweetest woman ever! I'll cherish and remember her forever!

You know what this is....Music. And it's a Masterpiece of such, too! Oh, so thankful to have experienced life with this musical era. I was a junior or senior in high school when her 1st album dropped in 1979. I don't ever recall hearing of her until about 4-5 years ago and that's strange because of the music buff that I am. However, shortly after I graduated in 1980, I was off to my appointment with destiny: The U.S. Army. And so depending on where I was stationed, I didn't have major access to R&B or Disco music. Had I known of just one of Her tracks, I would have bought THE ENTIRE album without first ever hearing it in it entirety. She is a gem of an artist!

I was an usher at the Dorval Cinema. I would always let her in for free. She was so nice and close friends with another usher. I think they wrote a song or two together in 1981. I have seen decades later in Boca Raton, Florida.

Tony Green wrote wrote and produced one heck of a great song. It is amazing. He lived not too far from me here in Montreal. Got to meet him one day when I went to his place to get a few cds of France Joli's recent cd at the time, IF YOU LOVE ME. Nice guy and we had a nice chat.
