Alright here's how to fix the issue. Run %localappdata% then delete the roblox folder, then try to redownload roblox. thats how I fixed the issue, try that if it isn't working for you.

i noticed an easier way to do this, just reinstall the game then change settings to run it as windows 8 instead of windows 10 or 11
