[SOLVED*: Templeton Thompson - This One’s Gonna Fly] Lostwave Hoax Clip - (“Above The Clouds”)

Unidentified Country / Pop song posted by user “Kerlo” on WatZatSong. Similarly to “How Long?”, this song was found on a bootleg DVD of “Mr. Peabody & Sherman”. The DVD was likely made around 2014-2015 because the OP’s dad stopped buying DVDs since 2016 and the movie was released in 2014.

Both songs sound like they were made by same artist (perhaps “Above The Clouds” may probably not be from Paula Toledo)

I thought the singer in this song is Paula Toledo, but maybe it’s not her.

02/25/2024 edit: This lostwave turned out to be a hoax the entire time. I mean the song is real and was made by Templeton Thompson, but Kerlo (the OP) knew the song name and the artist behind it ever since he posted the lostwave snippet online. The bootleg DVD menu was fake, he actually created it by himself.

Also just a heads up. This song was not made by Paula Toledo and while the voice sounds similar, the style is way different. She also mentioned that “Stray” and “How Long?” were her only unreleased tracks.

By the fact that an Advert plays before this video starts, this means that the song isnt' quite lost. When a song has copyright in it and is posted to youtube it usually has an advert played before the video is to start.

It sounds like it's pitched up. You can hear that slight robotic distortion in some parts. When you pitch it down by 1 semitone, it sounds much better.

Alright, considering How Long is from a movie credits, I assume this one is the same... or at least the song is played at the middle of the movie and that would be a lot more difficult to search. How Long song is coming from Secret Lives movie and the movie is in Youtube. The channel posting the movie called Great! has so many movies similar to this one. I don't know if some people already did this but I think we could start from there. Sadly some videos are blocked on my area and I'm currently too lazy to check on those for now, currently only checking the ones that are available (still plenty). The more people checking these movies, the better, considering there are so many songs that I have never heard before from the movies.
Also, the playlists on the descriptions are very helpful for checking the genres. I'm assuming this one is from a romance or slice of life movies so we can start from there. Can't check on those on my part because they're blocked here. Currently checking on the action and thriller genres.
