Paris is way too romanticized, it reality it’s the complete opposite and one of the most chaotic and crowded cities in Europe, people there don’t respect your personal boundaries too and constantly violate your space, public spaces and metro are gross compared to almost all other countries and not even going to go there. I just left France and arrived in Germany and everything is finally starting to feel “normal” again, clean, orderly, and everyone actually has respect and are not bumping into you like water molecules reaching near boiling temperatures anymore. I don’t know how to describe it but even being in a semi-normal and decent country after being in Paris gives me relief. Anyone romanticizing about Paris probably has never been there
