I bought a second hand one, this colour in about 1979 for £300. I loved it! The reg was PKT 21M. Hopefully someone still has it and rides it!

I owned one of these (same colour) at Kidlington Oxfordshire, 1980. Very reliable, handled well and great around the roads through the Cotswolds. Great days.

Brought back so many fantastic memories as had this motorcycle same colour back in 1975 for my 17th birthday. Miss it so much lucky you for having one !

My first bike. I will always remember the useless front disc brake when wet, the Kamikaze Yokohama tyres were something special as well when conditions were wet. It was a reliable machine, mine was blue and I bought it in 1974, taking it to Germany on holiday when I was 17. If they built copies I would buy it again, just plain and simple.

Had one exactly the same in 76, so many happy carefree memories!

I had one from 1978 to 1982 . Mine was Leix green I think they called it . Nice to see you have the export rear mudguard . The standard one was hideous . Put quite a lot of milage on mine . Very reliable ( only problem I had is that one coil melted got home on one cylinder ) but definitely not a sports bike . I have seen my old bike recently . Someone has restored it in the orange colour . Nice job they have done otherwise .

I had one of these, and loved it, but with only 27bph it could have done with some more, happy day.

I had an older 250 (K2 with the slab tank) but the G5 was well sexy with its swept up exhausts and nicely styled too.. I would like one even now.. but I have moved on to much bigger machines

Mine was a K5 I think, same colour, not disc braked, HOF 4N reg..Loved it..But remember being a bit disappointed with top speed which seemed quite low, 70/75 if you were lucky.

I worked in a motor cycle shop in Middlesbrough and I can remember the recalls on this model there was a fault in the handle bars they snapped Honda sent out braced bars problem fixed  and I must admit it was one of my favourite bikes of the 70, s me and my good friend Kenny C went all over the lake district two up on his g5 they all seem to have camchain tensioner probs though the tensioner bow was very poorly designed  we did come of it in a place called how town and it knackered his gear shifter so I took of the clutch cover and managed to put the gear box into 3rd and we managed to limp home great times great little bike

I had a G5 and found it underpowered and far from sure footed. Sounded anaemic despite having vented the silencers I moved on to a Ducati 350 with no looking back.

My first bike in 76....thought it wasn't much cop then...realised it was horrible now! (35 bikes later including some nearly as bad ones)
