Whoever is colorizing and enhancing old black and white videos of times past, God bless you.

A camera is the closest thing we have to a real time machine

These type of remasters really make you realize they were actual people, not just some characters in a history book

Just finishing the history channel documentary for him, god we were so lucky to have a man like him for our country 🇺🇸

Teddy was a monster of a man. He took a bullet to the chest and told the crowd "it takes more than that to stop a bull moose." And finished his speech.

He looks so much better moving around and colourised than in a stiff, monochrome photo

Crazy how adding a little image clarity and color can bring these old videos/photos back to life again. This is awesome!

Look how Edith, his wife and former first lady of the US, gracefully held his arm and redirected him towards some children so he can greet them. He died just 4 years after this was filmed. She died 33 years later. He barely saw the end of WWI. She saw the end of WWII.

His youngest son Quentin died in July, 1918 when he was shot down over France during WWI. Roosevelt died six months later, some say of a broken heart. TR's grave is located in Oyster Bay, Long Island.

Just for the national parks alone, I have the greatest respect for this man. He left behind a great gift for America.

It's eerie knowing that everyone in this video is not around anymore..

The music just starts making the feelings flow when I watch this. The 1910s, 1920s and 1930s videos all make me feel kind of creeped out by those days. But it’s fascinating.

The Bull Moose. Man once survived a literal bullet to the chest while giving a speech, it didn’t kill him, he said “it takes more than that to kill a bull moose!” Then just kept giving his speech.
